Kenneth Roberts is a seasoned business developer with a
diverse background encompassing finance, technology,
mining, commodities, and real estate. He began his career in
London as a shipping broker at Lloyd's before transitioning
into property, where he specialised in land acquisition and
commercial portfolio asset management. Kenneth later
moved into the commodities sector, where he excelled in the
trade and finance of metals and gemstones, orchestrating
numerous high-stakes transactions, including mergers and
joint ventures.
Kenneth has extensive experience in developing markets, particularly in Sub-Saharan Africa, where he has built a robust network of high-level contacts. His strategic leadership was pivotal during his 13-year tenure as CEO of Britannia Mining Inc., a Nevada-registered, publicly-listed company. Under his direction, the company expanded its exploration efforts from iron ore in Malawi to other minerals across Africa and Malaysia, significantly increasing its market capitalization from $6 million to $65 million.
His work in Africa has seen him lead initiatives in infrastructure, services, and energy, contributing to sustainable development across the region. In recognition of his efforts in Malawi, Kenneth was invited to Buckingham Palace in 2013, where he had the honour of meeting Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
